From July 2023, Japanese universities (including Graduate School)International Students who have graduated (completed their studies) from a Japanese graduate school and have decided to enter a Japanese Graduate School can now change their status of residence to "Designated Activities" if they meet certain requirements, and stay in Japan until their Enrollment Period at their school of higher education.
Successful applicants will be notified individually by the Division of International Affairs of Kansai University Graduate Schools after the announcement of successful applicants, and those who wish to change their eligibility should complete the necessary procedures.

Subjects
A university (including Graduate School) under the School Education Law of Japan, where the student is residing with the status of residence of "College Student". Foreign Research Students (excluding Bekka, Auditor, Auditor Registered for Credits, and Research Students) who have graduated or completed their studies at a university (excluding Bekka, Auditor, Auditor Registered for Credits, and Research Students) in Japan. The student must be a student who has decided to enter the Graduate Schools of Kansai University Graduate Schools, and who will be enrolled in the Graduate Schools until admission (limited to a period of no more than one year). (2) Those who intend to stay in Japan and wish to continue their stay in Japan.

Condition
1. maintain regular contact with Kansai University Graduate Schools during the period leading up to enrollment

2. notify Kansai University Graduate Schools as soon as possible if you wish to withdraw from enrollment.

3. students must complete their own application procedures to obtain permission to change their status of residence to that of a foreign student prior to enrolling in the program.

4. comply with the laws and regulations of Japan.

Other
1. after passing the entrance examination, regardless of the Enrollment Steps I and II stated in the Application Guidelines, payment of "school fees (admission fee and tuition) and other fees" within the designated period to be separately announced at a later date.

2. after passing the entrance examination, prepare the necessary documents for change of eligibility and submit them to the Division of International Affairs.
