The "Return Waiver System" is a system under which students who have used the "Japan Student Services Organization Type 1 Scholarship" for Graduate Schools and who are recognized by the JASSO as having made particularly outstanding achievements during their studies are exempted from returning all or part of their scholarship at the end of their loan period.
The purpose of the "Offer of Refund Waiver for Outstanding Achievement" is to provide university Undergraduate Faculty from low-income families with an early relief from financial concerns about their Master's Degree(course) and Professional Degree(course) studies, and to increase their incentive to continue their studies.
