 In 1922, Kansai University established the first11The philosophy of "GAKU-NO-JITSUGE (Harmony between Academia & Society)" - "Harmony between Academia & Society, between Theory & Practice" - advocated by Juntaro Yamaoka, our first President, still lives on in the very foundation of our school.

 Juntaro Yamaoka strongly advocated that "education and research should be deeply connected to social realities" during the process of elevating universities by the University Ordinance, and provided students with opportunities to put this into practice through the establishment of the Senriyama Campus, open lectures, language courses, and other programs. This spirit will push you to take on the challenge of finding and solving problems in your Graduate School studies.

 Kansai University Graduate Schools celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2016 with the "TheKandaiVision150The company was founded with the goal of150Year2036(year). 20This is an ideal image of the future in years to come. The Graduate School is committed to fostering "Ability to Think and Act" and "Ability to Innovate", to building an education, research & contribution to society that respects diversity and independence, and to preparing students to take charge of the future through flexible and robust organizational management.

 The Graduate Schools of Kansai University Graduate Schools provide an environment where students can immerse themselves in academic pursuits in a generous and free-spirited atmosphere that respects individual values, and where they can learn to embody the philosophy of "Harmony between Academia & Society, between Theory & Practice" as set forth by Juntaro Yamaoka.
